This long low bench made from layers of french oak laminated together has the appearance of being solid but is actually hollow. This type of construction allows me to sculpt the shape and create large pieces suitable for public spaces. The shape is an inverted triangle which curves away at one end thereby allowing it to stand on its’ apex . A later version in ash was made for the Royal Museum of Scotland which is nearly 7 metres long and has two backs
